“Today’s” Billy Bush has been suspended indefinitely after video leaked of his vulgar banter with Donald Trump… but how is he handling the scandal?

A source told Us Weekly, “Billy was devastated and crying when the leaked tape of him with Donald Trump in 2005 was first leaked to the Washington Post. He was crying that his career was over.”
Another source told People magazine that Bush “can’t recover” after the scandal. Though it is unknown who leaked the footage from Bush’s former job to the Washington Post, the insider said the leak was “purposeful” since “they could have released the tape and edited him out.”
On Monday morning, “Today’s” Savannah Guthrie addressed Billy’s scandal, saying, “We want to note one other thing. Pending further review of the matter, NBC News has suspended Billy Bush as the host of ‘Today’s’ third hour for his role in that conversation with Donald Trump.”
Another source from the show also revealed that the show is still trying to determine Billy’s fate. “Lots of texts and emails floating around. “Everybody has an opinion about this, and there’s a lot of talk about what to do with Billy.”
“This was personal. He was turning on his co-workers and friends to suck up to Donald Trump. So it’s like, ‘What does he say about me when I’m not in the room?’” the insider added.
Though Billy has apologized for his role in the video, it may not be enough to save his job. The source explained, “I don’t want to see him again, and I think there are a lot of women who feel the same way.”
