British actor Kebbell also had some words of advice for those Hollywood actors who are burnt out, and gave them a stark reminder of what they chose to do for a living.
“I’ve heard people giving bad performances because they’ve fallen out, or they’ve got trapped in some bizarre spiral of believing they’re important,” he smiled ruefully. “The important thing to understand is, whether it’s a short movie or a blockbuster, you’re supposed to give the same effort.
“And, you do get burned out. But, widen your vocabulary of skills and abilities, or appreciate how lucky you are to have earned money for wearing make-up. I mean, money. Real, ‘buy a house and a car’ money, for pretending. For doing what you did when you were six!” he joked.
While Kebbell, 34, said he can’t understand burning out right now, he acknowledged that may be because of his tender age.
“I don’t comprehend it (burning out) but I’m only 34,” he added. “I might to get 50 and think, ‘I’m so done with this’, but then I’ll just leave (Hollywood), because no-one cares that I’m here anyway!”
