Jon Stewart calls out ‘hypocrisy’ of the Left for falsely branding Trump voters as racist

For well over a decade now, Jon Stewart has been seen as a hero to leftists all over the world. Many liberals, especially millennials, considered The Daily Show to be the most reputable media source on television. While there are a number of corrupt mainstream media outlets out there, that statement is a bit farfetched. But the point remains that Stewart is viewed as a journalist hero to those on the left.

Now even he has spoken out against the influx of completely ridiculous rhetoric being spewed by the Regressive Left following the upset victory of president-elect Donald J. Trump.

In an interview with Charlie Rose of CBS, Stewart stated, “There are guys in my neighborhood that I love, that I respect, that I think have incredible qualities who are not afraid of Mexicans, and not afraid of Muslims, and not afraid of blacks. They’re afraid of their insurance premiums … In the liberal community, you hate this idea of creating people as a monolith … But everybody who voted for Trump is a monolith, is a racist. That hypocrisy is also real in our country.” This is a mic drop moment if there ever was one.

Stewart’s statement rings true, especially in light of the countless protests and riots currently taking place in many of our country’s most liberal cities. People who have been preaching about peace and tolerance for the past 18 months — and claiming that Trump is a violent monster — are now storming through the streets of Oregon and California, throwing trashcans and trying to set police cars on fire.

If any logical person wasn’t already against these people, they very likely are now, having seen how ridiculous they have been behaving following Trump’s victory. When you really analyze the entire election, it isn’t that much of a surprise that Donald Trump won. After being called racists and bigots by these leftists for so long, average Americans in the working class fought back in the most effective way imaginable — they voted against the left’s cause.

There are a lot more of us than there are of them, and people of all races, genders and creeds came together in order to fight back against political correctness and bring logic back to our country. In that way, Donald Trump is already keeping his promise and bringing Americans closer together. Even Jon Stewart — who has had a public dispute with Trump — is willing to acknowledge that.
