Robin made Mrs. Doubtfire one of the most endearing movies — ever. Watching the actor transform from Daniel to Mrs. Doubtfire is just extraordinary. Robin was able to do one thing few actors can, and that was fully immerse himself in the role. You forgot you were watching Robin play a woman. He became Mrs. Doubtfire.
*Dead Poets Society
There are so many great things to say aboutDead Poets Society. Robin plays Mr. Keating, the new English teacher at an all-boys preparatory school. He reaches the students, who are under pressure from their parents and the school, in a way no one had been able to. His performance is so inspiring. He makes anyone and everyone want to seize the day.
*Hook
Robin Williams is Peter Pan. He took on the role of the boy (and later man) who never wanted to grow up. Even though he’s a grown adult in the movie, Robin was able to express his inner child in Hook. He fully immersed himself in the role. His performance was absolutely magical.
Robin may be gone, but he’ll never be forgotten. His movies will live on forever. Rest in peace, Robin. You’re free.
